Scope

These terms govern your use of Ikimono Kokuho (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to them.

Accounts

Posting photos and comments requires signing in. You are responsible for your account.

Posts

Only post photos you own the copyright to and text you wrote yourself. Posts are public and may be shared by others. You keep the copyright but grant the Service a free licence to display, resize and create thumbnails of your posts.

Prohibited: infringing others' rights, personal information, content that records or encourages disturbing wildlife (approaching nests, feeding, capturing), advertising, and unlawful content. We may hide or delete posts that break these rules; posts reported multiple times are hidden automatically.

Wildlife Journal and Premium

The Wildlife Journal lets signed-in users privately record the animals they meet. The free plan allows 10 animals and 3 photos per animal.

Premium (¥300 per month, tax included) allows unlimited animals and up to 100 photos per animal, billed monthly through Stripe. First-time subscribers get a 7-day free trial and are not charged if they cancel during it.

You can cancel anytime from "Manage billing"; Premium stays active until the end of the paid period. Partial months are not refunded.

After Premium ends, entries beyond the free limits remain viewable and deletable, but new ones cannot be added.
